This policy explains what information KT Super Speciality Hospital collects through kthospitals.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
KT Super Speciality Hospital (“the hospital”, “we”, “us”) runs the website kthospitals.com. We are located at No. 222, Palani Road, near Palani Bye-Pass Junction, Dindigul — 624 003, Tamil Nadu. For anything in this policy, email kthospitaldgl@gmail.com or call +91 88077 22202.
This policy covers the website only. Medical records created when you are treated at the hospital are kept under the hospital's patient-confidentiality practices and the laws that apply to medical records in India.
Information we collect
Information you choose to give us
- When you call, WhatsApp or email us — for example to book an appointment — we receive your name, phone number or email address and whatever you tell us, which may include health details. These conversations happen on the phone, on WhatsApp or by email; the website itself does not store them.
- Career applications — the careers form does not send anything to our servers. It opens your own email app with your details filled in, and you decide whether to send it.
Visitors do not create accounts on this website, and we do not ask you to log in with Facebook, Instagram, Google or any other service.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are (city or region), the device and browser used, and clicks on buttons such as “Call”, “WhatsApp” or “Book appointment”. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. It does not tell us who you are.
- Server logs — like most websites, our server records technical details of each request (IP address, browser, time and page requested) to keep the site secure and working. These logs are deleted routinely and are not used to identify visitors.
Videos, posts and maps from other services
The website shows videos and posts from our own YouTube channel, Facebook page and Instagram account, and a Google Map of our location. To display public posts from our Facebook page and Instagram account we use Meta's oEmbed service, which only returns the public post itself; it does not give us any information about you.
When you play a video, open a post or use the map, the service that provides it (YouTube / Google, Facebook, Instagram / Meta) may set its own cookies and collect information under its own privacy policy: Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Links to Facebook or Instagram open those sites, where their own policies apply.
How we use information
- To reply to you and to arrange appointments, consultations and visits.
- To consider job applications you send us.
- To understand which pages are useful and to improve the website.
- To keep the website secure and to meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
Who we share it with
We share information only when needed:
- With service providers who run parts of the website for us — our web hosting provider and Google Analytics — under their terms.
- With doctors and staff of the hospital who need it to look after you.
- When the law requires it, for example in response to a lawful request from authorities.
How long we keep it
Messages and enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up, unless they become part of your medical record. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Server logs are kept for a short period for security. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or update information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information, where we are not required by law to keep it;
- withdraw any consent you have given; and
- nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email kthospitaldgl@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion request”, or follow the steps on our data deletion page. Our website and its Meta (Facebook / Instagram) app do not collect or store data from your Facebook or Instagram account.
Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The website still works without cookies, although embedded videos may not play.
Children
The website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18 through the website; a parent or guardian should contact us on a child's behalf.
Security
The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to its systems is restricted to authorised staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
